The best cosmetic make up remover is one that contains safe and natural ingredients.  You can also make removing cosmetic make up easier, by applying a special cream before you apply your foundation.  I'll tell you a little more about that later on.  But, first, let's look at some ingredients that you should avoid.

Sodium Methyl Paraben

Added Fragrances

Almost all products for removing cosmetic make up have an added fragrance.  It might be a natural fragrance like Eugenol or linalool.  It might be a chemical compound and manufacturers are not required to list which chemicals are used to make the scent.  Added fragrances of all kinds, along with artificial preservatives, are the most common causes of allergic reactions.
